Biography
My love affair with jewelry began with gemstones and precious metals as I transitioned from fiber artist to jewelry artist. Then in 2006 I began working with Precious Metal Clay (PMC). This flexible material can be shaped, textured, and carved using a variety of techniques. After drying, I fire the clay in a kiln which burns the binder away, leaving pure sintered metal. I had found my medium! I went for certification through PMC Connection and soon attained their top Level 3 Certification. I continue my training by taking several Master Level classes each year.
My work is also available at Sara's Jewel Box in Gordonsville, VA and Purcellville Pottery & Local Arts in Purcellville, VA.
I also love to do artisan shows, where I can meet my collectors personally. The juried shows in which I participate are concentrated in the fall, which I have listed on my “Information/Upcoming Shows” page.
