Since my retirement from my "day job" on March 30th things have been quite exciting.  I've  

• Visited Frank Lloyd Wright's Pope-Leighey House and had high tea with a friend at the Ritz - first time for both
  
• Signed up for iContact (like Constant Contact) and developed first draft of the Artists' Undertaking Gallery newsletter (where my work is available)
  
• Spent about a bazillion hours looking for a new display unit for the Gallery - still haven't found the perfect one yet
• Completed taxes -not exactly fun, but something that had to be done
• Met with the VA PMC Guild Board and discussed upcoming programs
  
• Was elected 1st Director (in charge of Programs) for the Northern Virginia Handcrafter's Guild
• Visited the Smithsonian Craft Show for the first time
• Plus a lot more
  

Granted some of these items are geeky, but that's just part of me.  I have also begun working on the concept for a new line of jewelry, so stay tuned.

While I do miss the daily interaction with my colleagues and friends from my old job, there are so many things I want to do.   My "To-Do" list keeps getting longer every day.  Every time I complete one item, I think of three more.
